Marvel has been busy these years producing a string of superhero movies from X-Men to The Avengers to the Fantastic Four. DC Comics is not one to be left behind. Serving as the third instalment in the DC Comics’ shared universe film, Suicide Squad is a gathering of the nastiness antiheroes to save the world.
In the film, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. This will be a gathering of the world’s most feared villains like Deadshot (Will Smith), the Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), El Diable (Jay Hernandez), and Slipknot (Adam Beach).
Scott Eastwood, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack, Common, Alex Meraz, David Harbour and Raymond Olubowale are also part of the film in unspecified roles. Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad will hit cinemas in August 5, 2016.
