When established director Arnold Albertson casts his call girl-turned-actress Isabella Izzy Patterson in a new play to star alongside his wife Delta and her ex-lover Seth Gilbert, a zany love tangle forms with hilarious twists. The playwright falls for Izzy as well, despite the fact that he’s already dating her therapist, whose alcoholic mother is in rehab.
The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Owen Wilson, Imogen Poots, Will Forte, Rhys Ifans, Jennifer Aniston and Joanna Lumley. She's Funny That Way premiered at the 2014 Venice Film Festival and will be available for limited release and through video on demand on August 14, 2015.
